Abstract

Waste rubber tires are one of the hot issues of environmental problem. This study will compile and review the previous research studies regarding the performance of concrete containing crumb rubber as partial replacement material in terms of workability, density and compressive strength. According to the findings, there is decreasing pattern in the strength performances of crumb rubber concrete sample with treated by NaOH. However, the addition of crumb rubber in range 5%-20% can increase the strength performance of concrete.
