UNDERSTANDING RADIOLOGY IN TRAUMA

Traumatology is a major component in any healthcare system. It remains one of the major causes of morbidity worldwide. In Malaysia, trauma cases are in an uprising trend with more mortality occurring annually. However, trauma system and network in Malaysia are still at a nascent stage. This lead to a limited emphasis on trauma education within surgery curriculum.

This book provides a guide in identifying the key features of radiograph in real life trauma patients. It will benefit the medical students, medical officers and medical personnel who participate in trauma management and trauma radiology. This book will serve as a tool to aid in recognizing the findings within an imaging modality during trauma patient evaluations.
