Kajian ini dijalankan untuk melihat penggunaan variasi bahan bantu mengajar (BBM) dalam kalangan guru pelatih semasa sesi PdPc. Objektif kajian adalah mengenal pasti penggunaan bahan bantu mengajar (BBM) sebagai bahan instrumen pengajaran dalam kalangan guru pelatih dan menghuraikan pandangan guru pelatih tentang penggunaan bahan bantu mengajar sebagai instrumen pengajaran. Reka bentuk kajian ini adalah adalah kajian kes yang menggunakan kaedah kualitatif, dan menggunakan kaedah kepustakaan serta pemerhatian dalam proses pengumpulan data. Kajian ini melibatkan empat orang guru pelatih pelbagai bidang yang telah selesai menjalani praktikum di SMK Tengku Kudin, Raub, Pahang. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah borang soal selidik. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan guru pelatih bukan sahaja menggunakan bahan bantu mengajar berasaskan bahan fizikal, malah turut menggunakan bahan bantu mengajar berasaskan teknologi. Dari sudut positif, dapatan kajian menunjukkan penggunaan variasi bahan bantu mengajar berupaya memberikan kepuasan dan kemudahan kepada guru pelatih menyampaikan pengajaran selain dapat menambah pelbagai ilmu pengetahuan. Namun, wujud kekangan untuk mengekalkan konsistensi penyediaan bahan bantu mengajar, iaitu dari segi kewangan, kemudahan prasarana dan masalah teknikal seperti capaian internet di sekolah. Implikasi kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetengahkan kepelbagaian bahan bantu mengajar yang digunakan oleh guru pelatih mengikut bidang masing-masing, selain menjadi rujukan untuk kajian masa akan datang berkaitan manfaat penyediaan bahan bahan bantu mengajar serta kekangan yang perlu dihadapi dalam proses penyediaannya.

This study was conducted to see the use of variations in teaching aids among trainee teachers during teaching and learning sessions. The objective of the study is to identify the variation of teaching aids as teaching materials among trainee teachers and describe the opinions of trainee teachers regarding the use of variations of teaching aids as teaching instruments. The design of this study is a case study that used qualitative methods, library research and survey methods in order tp collect the data. This study involves four trainee teachers from various fields who have completed their practicum at SMK Tengku Kudin, Raub, Pahang. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. The findings of the study show that the trainee teachers not only use teaching aids based on physical materials, but also use teaching aids based on technology. From a positive point of view, the findings of the study show that the use of a variety of teaching aids is able to provide satisfaction and convenience to trainee teachers in delivering lessons, in addition to adding a variety of knowledge. However, there are challenges to maintain consistency in the provision of teaching aids, such as finance, infrastructure facilities and technical problems, such as internet access in schools. The implications of this study aim to highlight the variety of teaching aids used by trainee teachers according to their respective fields, in addition to being a reference for future studies related to the benefits of preparing teaching aids as well as the constraints that need to be faced in the preparation process.
