E-Health Registration System Using QR Code

Abstract

E-Health UTHM is an application that was developed to enable students and staff to register for medical or dental services in the health centre by scanning QR code and getting a medical summary from a doctor. The manual process in UTHM Health Centre required staff and students to place their matric card in a box at the registration counter and wait for the medical staff to call them. Therefore, this is a manual process for every patient in the health centre and it is important to digitize the process of registration. Object oriented software development method is used in this project and this application is developed using Android Studio software and Firebase database. Overall, E-Health UTHM may enable patients to register for services by scanning QR code and viewing medical summary.
