The study was conducted to examine industry perceptions of the importance of soft skills in enhancing employability among TVET graduates, in line with current industrial challenges. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) approach, a total of 35 data sources were initially identified; however, only 20 sources were selected after a screening process based on accessibility, publication year range, and relevance to the study focus. Data collection involved 20 articles obtained from several major databases, including Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and other relevant sources. The findings indicate that soft skills are increasingly recognized as a key determinant of TVET graduates’ employability, particularly in addressing the challenges of IR 4.0, thereby highlighting the need for curriculum strengthening and greater industry involvement in TVET education syllabus.
