Reviewing Process

Journal Policy: Single-Blind Reviewing Process

At JST, we uphold a commitment to scholarly integrity, transparency, and excellence in academic publishing. Our peer review process plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of the research we publish. This policy outlines our approach to single-blind reviewing and elucidates the procedures involved.

  1. Submission and Initial Screening:

Upon submission of a manuscript to JST, it undergoes an initial screening process to ensure adherence to the journal's scope, formatting guidelines, and ethical standards. Submissions meeting these criteria proceed to the peer review stage.

  1. Assignment of Reviewers:

The Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor assigns anonymous reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript's subject matter. Reviewers are selected based on their academic credentials, research experience, and absence of conflicts of interest with the authors.

  1. Single-Blind Review Process:

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, significance, methodology, clarity, and adherence to scholarly standards. While reviewers remain anonymous to the authors, authors' identities are disclosed to reviewers to facilitate constructive feedback and informed evaluation.

  1. Reviewer Recommendations:

Reviewers provide detailed feedback and recommendations regarding the manuscript's suitability for publication. Recommendations may include acceptance, revision with specific suggestions for improvement, or rejection, accompanied by substantive reasons and constructive criticism.

  1. Editorial Decision:

The Editor-in-Chief synthesizes the reviewers' feedback, considering its scholarly merit, alignment with the journal's scope, and ethical considerations. The editorial decision is communicated to the authors along with the reviewers' comments, ensuring transparency and accountability in the decision-making process.

  1. Author Response and Revision:

Authors are provided with the opportunity to respond to reviewers' comments and revise their manuscript accordingly. Revised manuscripts undergo further evaluation to ensure that reviewer concerns have been adequately addressed.

  1. Final Decision and Publication:

Based on the authors' responses and the revised manuscript, the Editor-in-Chief makes a final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection. Accepted manuscripts proceed to the production stage for publication, maintaining the integrity and quality standards upheld by JST.

The single-blind reviewing process employed by JST reflects our commitment to rigorous evaluation, scholarly integrity, and transparency in academic publishing. By fostering impartial assessment, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement, we strive to uphold the highest standards of excellence and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in our respective fields.

This policy serves as a guiding framework for authors, reviewers, and editorial staff, ensuring a fair, objective, and robust peer review process that enriches scholarly discourse and fosters academic excellence.
